How to determine your goals
First you have to set your life outcome or life vision. Simply put, what kind of person you want to be.
Life achievements are divided into several aspects: self-cultivation, learning, love, family (kinship), friends, career, wealth.
The above eight aspects are indispensable. Many people in modern society lack happiness in their lives because they ignore one or several of them and focus on individual items. As we grow older, we regret more and more, and we continue to create regrets.
Therefore, you must plan your life comprehensively and make amendments from time to time.
There was a popular saying a few years ago, which roughly meant: I kept running so that I forgot why I started.
Why is this?
There are three root causes:
1. The conflict between consciousness and subconsciousness,
2. Too much focus on one or two life achievements and ignore the others,
3. Confusing goals and results.
The result is the future self that you shape in the subconscious, the fulfillment of your wishes and the fulfillment of life. It is the manifestation of the pure nature of human beings, and the various unreached selves formed during your growth.
Maslow's five levels of needs: survival, safety, status, honor, and realization of self-worth. The five layers are progressive. At the same time, in the process of growing up, we are more and more affected by society, and people's sociality is also reflected more. The universal values of society are always testing, measuring and restricting us. This in itself is the dialectical relationship between human nature and sociality.
The process of determining the results of life is the process of distinguishing.
There are two principles:
1. Know exactly what you want, and many people know exactly what they don’t want but don’t know what they want. This is very harmful, and many children with superior childhoods grow up easily. This is the source of many negative emotions: complaining, rejection, victims, resentment, grievances. The solution is very simple. Always ask yourself what I want and can I get what I want when I am doing it. Describe what you want in positive language.
2. Persist in a win-win situation, hello, hello, everyone. The bottom line is that I am good, but I will definitely not harm you or everyone.
How to set and achieve goals
Many books define goals in this way. The goal is your direction and purpose, your dream and vision.
If defined in this way, it is very vague. I believe that goals are tools and means to achieve results in life, and are quantitative results. Goals and plans are twins, and plans are the path to accomplish goals and achieve results.
First of all, the most important thing is to understand what you want. Short-term goals must serve mid-term goals, and mid-term goals must serve long-term goals. I want to earn a lot of money to serve me having a happy life. Why did I set this goal? Isn't it what I want. After the goal is set, visualize it, and describe whether the situation after the goal is completed is in conflict with your original vision.
Second, I must analyze my starting point, what are my strengths, what are my weaknesses, what opportunities are there for me in my surrounding environment, my current wealth status, work status, and so on.
Third, the formulation of goals should follow six principles:
1. Self-reliance
2. Clear and specific
3. Measurable
4. Combination of long and short
5. Time-limited
6. Challenging
Fourth, several elements to achieve the goal:
1. Analyze and confirm what are the obstacles to achieve the goal, and find out how to solve the obstacles.
2. Confirm the knowledge and skills required to complete the goal
3. Create your environment, analyze and identify people and groups that are helpful to achieve your goals.
4. Goal textualization
5. Goal visualization
6. Make a plan
7, act now
8. Goals should have inspection points, and they should be assessed or assessed on time
9. A firm belief
